The aim of the diploma thesis is the presentation of findings from the stands, which are conversion to a mosaic structure. The work analyses the results obtained from a series of three permanent research plots (PRP) established in 2016 in forests stand 285-10 on LC Ráztočno with the dominance of beech with different phases of conversion to a mosaic structure. Changes in the diameter and volume structure and regeneration processes are analysed on individual PRP during a period of three years. The canopy cover and production utilisation of the growth space are also analysed. Between the diameter structures obtained in the specified measurement periods on individual PRP was confirmed their difference. The diameter structure on PRP 1 is characterized by a wide scale of diameter and a decreasing distribution of diameter distribution. The diameter distribution on PRP 2 is typical for structure the forest of age classes. On PRP 3 after salvage cutting the diameter distribution begins to have a decreasing distribution from the lowest diameter class. The highest values of the growing stock 601,96 m3.ha-1 were found in 2019 on PRP 2. High values of annual volume increment were also found, with values the between from 12,44 m3.ha-1 on PRP 1 and 13,17 m3.ha-1 on PRP 2. Production trai obtained from the research plot confirmed the high fertility of forest soil. The structure on PRP 3 changed most significantly influence salvage cutting. The analysis tree species composition on PRP 3 obtained findings, that point to trends in changes in the representation of individual trees. The dominant tree species in 2016 was spruce, which in 2019 contributed only sporadically to the structure of the stand. After salvage cutting, the growing stock was reduced to 56,3 % of the original value. Beech and fir participate to the structure of the stand after salvage cutting. On the other hand, better lighting conditions in regeneration processes are more favourable for spruce than beech and fir. The result is a significant increase in the abundance of this tree in the structure of natural regeneration and the diameter structure of the next generation forests stand. The analysis of the relationship between the crown volume and the stems volume confirmed a tight cerrelation on PRP 1 and 3. On PRP 2 were found high values of canopy cover and high competitive pressure on tree crowns, which was reflected in the low values correlation. Damage to natural regeneration by deer must be assessed negatively. High values of damage were recorded for beech on PRP 1 and 3, where the values ranged from 53,23% to 54,91%. The damage to fir on PRP 3 was 43,78 %. In term transition a trees into the lower layer of the stand, the research confirmed that the most significant risk for the application of the concept of mosaic stands in this tree composition is deer.
