The aim of this project is to discuss the complex topic of the street furniture in the mountain environment. It describes and analyses the evolution of this environment. Moreover, it describes the evolvement of the street furniture from its historic begins to present days. In addition, the project is based on the analysis of the gathered knowledge and inspiring elements found in the nature underlying the ecological and aesthetic aspects. Based on these findings it provides creation and solution of its own proposal of the design of the street furniture situated into the specific mountain environment, Vysoke Tatry.
