Roman Catholic Church Simple and subdued from the outside, the churches internal geometry provides a surprising contrast with its neutral exterior form. The internal church symbolise holiness which is protected from an internal chaotic world. Access to the church is via a vestibule passage, which leads into the inner space. Through the passage you could pass in the Chapel ( for everyday praying), confessional rooms and place for people with children. The combination of the oval church shape and rectangular geometry of the ground plan give the wall surfaces a sense of rotation, supporting the feeling of movements and infinity. Main materials which I have used on my project are white coloured concrete, glass, cherry wood, limestone and glossy light colour tiles.
