The purpose of this project is to create the gene (seed) bank. Facility, that primarily collects a preserves genotypes of various species of plants, for long term in viable state. Additional activity of this facility consists of research and publishing. Object is divided into two equal sections, where first is administration that manages whole organzation, and second is technical/technological sector. Living field collection is a part of attached property, next to the building. Administrative part of the seed bank building consists of main foyer, showroom, offices, conference hall, databases, archive, and education-information center. Technical part provides several functions, as for example: shor, mid and long term seed storage, and contains of laboratory, drying room, germinatory, kitchen/rest room, locker room, emergency generator and finally rooms for cold storage for seeds. Running of this facility provides priceless contribution in preserving regional biological diversity, and development of sustainable agriculture. It also plays important role in maintaining food and national security. It is contract of our common future.
