The diploma thesis is focused on innovation issues in Slovakia, concretely there is a view of green innovations, so-called also like eco-innovation or environmental innovations. The thesis is divided into some parts. The theoretical part includes the main goal and definition of innovations, types of innovations, an innovative process and Valent innovation spectrum and characterises of green innovations. We also pay attention to green innovations in the European Union and in Slovakia. In this part is a specific topic - biomimicry. Consequently, we are evaluating the perception of green innovations in Slovakia based on the Kano model to find how customers are looking for green innovations in the current Slovak market. The final point of the diploma thesis makes of these results in the discussion, through which we analyze the findings of the studied issue.
