This diploma work focuses on a theoretical part on the current measurement overview of emissions of motor vehicles. Here are characterized various pollutants of exhaust fumes and possibilities to eliminate them. In theoretical part there is a processed legislative option of reducing emissions, but also the possivility via structural modifications of vehicles and added equipments. These are individually described. In the first part of this work are smoke and fuel consumptions. In the practical part the exact procedures and equipment are described, how the flue gas of combustion engines is necessairly measured. In the final part the measurement results are evaluated and a graphical analysis of the impact of the particulare filter on emissions and flue consumption of individual selected vehicles is made.
