The aim of this master thesis is to develop a tactical exercise proposal and following suggestion for improving rescue on a frozen water surface. The thesis is composed of four chapters. The first chapter focuses on laws and regulations concerning flood emergency services, analysis of activities on frozen water surface and first aid. Furthermore, the flood rescue service of the Fire and Rescue Brigade of the Slovak Republic is described. The core of the thesis is presenting a proposal of tactical exercise of Fire and Rescue Brigade Rimavská Sobota on the chosen frozen water surface. The fourth chapter brings us several conclusions concerning the realization of tactical rescue practises of people on the frozen water surface. As well as testing of various alternatives of rescue in these conditions. At the end of the thesis there is a proposal to improve the rescue work on the frozen water surface. Finally, we evaluated the aim of the thesis, compared the proposal of the above mentioned practises in terms of real situation.
