In the diploma thesis we focused on the structure of wood craft in the region of Žilina. The main goal was to map a small craftsman, who are dealing with the woodcraft of raw wood material and at the same time mapping the woodcraft microenterprises. For completing the goal, in the theoretical part we had defined the terms of microenterprises and small entrepreneurship, described the advantages, disadvantages and other various forms of the support for small enterprises. We have defined the terms family business and domestic production to which the craft form and the definition of traditional wood craft relates. Based on the theoretical view of traditional wood craft, we have graphically demonstrated the areas of the most common occurrence of wood craft enterprises in Slovak Republic. In the next part of the diploma thesis we have focused on the realization of questionnaire research, whose main task was to find out the structure of small woodcraft enterprises in the northern part of Slovakia. Besides the structure, our task was to find out a variety of obstacles and difficulties of implementation of the craft work and the forms of presentation of the worker’s production. In the conclusion of the thesis we have made a graphic overview of the structure of workers and we have compared the reached results with the ones we have reached in the bachelor thesis.
