The aim of the thesis is realization of conveyor belt controlling system combined with pneumatic manipulator. Conveyor belt is controlled through PLC automat and frequency converter. VisiLogic software was used to program controlling system. The thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part summarizes knowledge of conveyor belts and their essential parts, possibilities of induction motor control, use of PLC controllers in automation engineering and pneumatic mechanisms. Practical part is devoted to realization of conveyor belt and pneumatic arm model. Moreover this part contains of description of individual functional blocks in PLC automat software and wiring diagram of frequency converter to the motor as well as to the input/output PLC automat module.
