BAGÍN, Tomáš: Analysis of methods for determining geometric parameters of the crane rail. [Thesis] -- Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, Faculty of Civil Engineering. Department of Surveying -- Consultant: Ing. Marek Bajtala, PhD. Bratislava: FCE SUT, 2012, 37p. The aim of this thesis is an analysis and comparison of methods for determining geometric parameters of the crane rail. The aim was to assess whether it is necessary to determine the geometric parameters of the crane rail to carry out measurements directly from the surface of the crane rail or is it sufficient to choose the position of the physical device the surface under the crane rail and turn it to carry out measurements. Content of the thesis is a treatise on the issue of determining the geometric parameters of crane rails, the measuring methods used crane rails, description and results of experimental measurements of geometric parameters of the crane rail in area Matador - Petržalka, evaluation and analysis of measurement results. The analysis of experimental measurements show that in determining the geometric parameters of the crane rail is not necessary to perform measurements from the surface of the crane track, but it is sufficient to perform measurements of the position, which is under the crane rail on the surface. The result of this work is to measure the geometric parameters of the crane rail of the position of the device, which is under the crane rail and using a total station provides sufficiently accurate results, quicker and more efficient process measurement and evaluation of measurement and increases the safety of surveyor to measure.
