MVDr. Dusan Rajsky, PhD., Zvolen 2020, 90 pages.The thesis evaluates mass poisoning of roe deer by the substance Bromadiolon in the district of Bánovce nad Bebravou and processes literary sources from the issue of game intoxication with pesticides substance, with special accent to substance against rodent (rodenticides). The thesis presents an analysis of the poisoning of roe deer in the hunting area, where intoxication made a mass death of roe deer. Accent is on adherence to right procedures for the application of rodenticidal substances during treatment of agricultural crops, field surveys and documentation. Emphasis on cooperation of hunting groups users with competent authorities and organizations in a situation where there are no generally valid methodological procedures binding for affected organizations in the investigation of the source of such emergency cases. The ecological aspect of nature protection, in addition to the loss of roe deer, also warn to the death of other non-target species, such as wild predators and feathered birds . In the conclusion of the thesis are presented procedures for evaluation of incurred breeding losses on game, financial evaluation and expression of economic damages on game and their quantification on the example of model hunting district.
