The final work is devoted to the issue of detection and monitoring of forest fires in the Slovak Republic. The main goal of this work is to evaluate the current state of the used automatic technology for fire detection and monitoring in terms of use in HaZZ in the Slovak Republic and to evaluate a suitable system that would be used in Slovak forests and could be used in the future. The first part is devoted to the detection and monitoring of forest fires, then in the next part it deals with the techniques of fire detection and monitoring. The third chapter is the division of individual systems that are most often used. In the practical part we get acquainted with the current state of automatic and detection systems that are used in the Slovak Republic and are used in HaZZ. Subsequently, it deals with suitable automatic detection systems, ie its evaluation of suitability for the forest environment of the Slovak Republic, comparison of suitable automatic detection systems and their future use in the Slovak Republic.
