This bachelor thesis focuses on pumps, their division and use. We tried to get closer which devices own HaZZ and HZS. The main purpose of this bachelor thesis is to get acquainted with the pumps used in fire and rescue service in Slovakia and to compare them with the pumps used in fire and rescue service in Czech Republic. The thesis presents the basic parameters of fire pumps in case of fires, floods and leakage of hazardous substances.
