In this work we focus mainly on unfair business practices and their impact on the average consumer. The main goal of the bachelor's thesis is to create material for the average consumer, thanks to which the consumer will obtain the necessary information to protect and resolve disputes that have already arisen. In the first chapter we deal mainly with the concepts of unfair commercial practices, consumers, sellers and others. We also show real reportedly unfair business practices of the Slovak Trade Inspection Authority. In the next chapter, we analyze the created questionnaire, which was answered by 200 respondents. Based on the analysis of the questionnaire, we created a solution procedure, in case of detection of unfair business practices before and after the transaction. The conclusion of the bachelor thesis is devoted to the process of solving and reporting unfair business practices.
