The Master thesis is focused on the elaboration of a survey and evaluation of customer requirements. The main interest is a wooden building. The thesis characterizes the theoretical basis, the issue of housing in Slovakia as well as the biggest problems of housing in Slovakia. The second part analyses the main requirements for decision-making when considering wooden construction. The KANO model is used in the survey. The third part, based on the achieved results, summarizes the following facts: The younger age category has a few percent differentiation in sustainable thinking. Many of them do not consider wooden construction as an attractive housing option. Buyers need to clarify the necessary attributes. This can lead to a better future for Slovakia.
