Nowadays, we live in a time when the media is putting a lot of pressure on the public, which can in a large extent influence the public in their perception of hunting as such. The aim of this thesis was to ascertain views on hunting and wild animals by the general public depending on gender, age, residence and holding a hunting license. The final part of the thesis is focused on the analysis of the results of our survey. In order to collect data for further processing of our survey part, we used the method provided by the questionnaire. After processing all data, we found out that people living in the city and in the countryside as well perceive the issues quite similarly and this was quite unexpected for us.
