The aim of the diploma thesis was to design and develop air conditioning of selected areas in the reconstruction of the historic building, which is a castle.In the theoretical part, selected operations of the given objects are characterized, the thermal and humidity requirements for the given environment, the principles of the air exchange in the premises considered and the heat recovery function from the exhaust air in the selected areas of castle.The computational part deals with the calculation of the parameters of the air conditioning devices for the operation of the kitchen, restaurant and leisure part of the hotel based on given input parameters. The computational part further includes the dimensation and design of distribution networks and the design of the relevant air handling units.
