Kľúčové slová (ostatné):
Waterfront in Bratislava is not only the climax of urban structure or zone of impact but it is also continual program. It mainly represents a group of of experiences in reflection to general entities (Area - Point - Line -- Zone). To make the city capable of using the area of waterfront fully, as one of significant urban expression, it must have a vision of its coherent conception, of its program and action. However, every object, every area belongs to some value, which has its concrete location and function, its linked by action, is not isolated and its content is linked to entire concept of city waterfront. Also, the access to this dissertation was not originally based on issues of cultural hall as a typological problem of a civil building with pre-stated capacity, but as a point fitting into the concept of waterfront. So the initial reflections on PKO begin with considerations of Bratislava, the waterfront and from the defined sequence. This follows the analysis and searching for filling of the program. I consider this program not only as a function in space but also in time- delivering a complex and complete experience. After defining the functional cartridges I am coming to the next problem - object relationship to public space. Here I am trying to create public spaces with character and function by arranging objects. By layering the functions I am trying to reach an all-day living area - avoid the pitfalls of cultural open-air museum. The actual study of A Hall with a "City information platform" represents fragment of the designed object and the program structure. The A hall is the largest assembly area is not the complex, multifunctional area providing a venue for concerts, exhibitions, social events, etc. City information platform provides area not only for basic information services, but it is aiming to be a lively part of a visitor or a citizen -- place where he likes return and gets more familiar with the city. A hall is the largest assembly areas complex, multifunctional space for concerts, exhibitions, social events, and so on. City information platform provides space not only for basic information services but strive to be a vital part of the visitor or resident of the city - an area where returns, the city recognizes that he himself represents.
