The goal of diploma thesis "Eco Centre, Hrubý Šúr" is the solution to the exterior design and to the interior design of disposition and arrangement of this old former primary school building located in Hrubý Šúr. The project is focused to create educational center of ecological engineering civil association ArTUR and will be also a multi-purpose facility for the village use, if necessary, of seminar and lecture room. Improving conditions for teaching and courses provides a proposal of modern extension building, which is extended by additional rooms for practical training and for exhibitions. Interior spaces are designed to be materialized its function and transformed into a unified whole that meets the requirements of norms and typology. Design of furniture components and the whole interior is adapted for education and practical courses in the field of ecological engineering. Used materials, surfaces and colors are mainly with natural character, in order to achieve coherent character of this design work.
