The aim of my bachelor thesis is to prepare a project for building a construction. I designed starter apartments especially for newlywed couples so they could have the chance to live together in a comfortable environment. The building is constructed in a simple way, the material use reflects purity. The facade is divided. The building is designed in one single unit, it is an apartment building with a balcony. The property is located in Bátorove Kosihy in the center of the village and the land is currently unused. It is plain, minimal earthworks will be required. Close to the building is a primary school, shops and grocery stores. The main entrance to the building is located on the northeast side. The building has one basement and four floors. In the basement there is a warehouse for each of the apartments in the building. On the ground floor there are garages, warehouses, a boiler room, a utility room and the entrance to the building. Each floor consists of five apartments, which open from the gallery. The flats are equipped with loggias on the southwest side. The housing achieves a good amount of lighting through the use of large windows. The supporting system consists of reinforced concrete columns with a maximum span of 7.2 meters. The building is insulated with the insulating system Baumit Open Therm of expanded polystyrene (hr. 100 mm for ceramic siding walls and 180 mm columns). The roof is designed as a flat, inverted and walkable area. Suitability solution of the carrier system and window openings is shown in thermal review.
