The subject of the thesis is processing of urban - architectural studies of Kamenne Square in Bratislava. The thesis tries to answer questions regarding the maintenance and finishing the construction site of architect Matušík in relation to the creation of pedestrian promenade along the Špitálská street and Dunajská street. The proposal for changes in exterior public areas is aimed at establishing a clearly defined public space in direct relation with existing surrounding buildings, newly designed features in neighboring vacant lot in connection to here mouthing pedestrian communication and transport roads. The focus of the thesis is integrated urban and architectural approach with reasoned functional and volumetric filling of individual, freshly designed buildings. All new buildings have a clearly defined approach to the space and hierarchy of integrated function view of the situation in the urban structure of Matušíkova site. Individual functions of the building are complementary, and together with the public space a compact, not only urban, but also functional unit is created.
