ABSTRACT ŠAUŠA, Jakub: Mineralogical-petrological study of metacarbonates in Klátov complex, Gemericum. [Diploma thesis]. Comenius University in Bratislava. Faculty of Natural Sciences. Department of Mineralogy and Petrology. Supervisor: RNDr. Peter Ružička, PhD. Bratislava, 2017, 107 p. This diploma thesis has three goals: 1. Crystallochemically define mineral composition of metacarbonates 2. Characterize bulk composition of metacarbonates. 3. Determine T-XCO2 conditions of metamorphism of carbonates. To accomplish our goals of work we have been using following methods: polarizing microscopy, electron microanalysis, emission and mass spectrometry with inductively coupled plasma and thermodynamic modeling in Perple_X program. Indetified mineral association of metacarbonates is Cal + Am(Mg-Hbl, Prg, Act) + Cpx(Di) + Ab + Or + Ep/Czo + Ttn. Metacarbonates are products of regional metasomatic processes, which are related to the partial anatexis of amphibolites of the Klátov complex. The formation of Di form Mg-Hbl/Prg + Ab took place in the stage of the compression phase of variscian orogen at the interface of amphibolite and granulite facies. The formation of Ep+Qtz symplectites, coronary edges Ep around Ab and pertitization of feldspars was in the stage in decompression phase of variscian orogen (M1). Development of Act was at retrograde stage during the alpine process (M2) in the greenschist facies. T-XCO2 pseudosection of metacarbonate generated in NCKFMASCH system at a constant pressure of 450 MPa indicates, that Ab is stable at 466-600°C and XCO2 = 0,1-1,0; Or is stable at 490-600°C and XCO2 = 0,1-1,0; Am is stable at 468-579°C a XCO2 = 0,1-0,81; Cpx is stable at 511-600°C and XCO2 = 0,1-1,0.
