The thesis deals with the procedure of the fire brigade in the event of a fire with the occurrence of ionizing radiation on a simulated modeled event in the premises of the Levice Hospital in the Department of Radiology. The aim is to approach, to describe and to evaluate the procedure in the practice for the measuring of the hazardous value outside of the protection and control zone of a nuclear installation. In the first chapter, we deal theoretically with the radiation, types of the radiation, the biological effects on humans, the protection against the ionizing radiation, the dosimeters, the radioactive waste and the decontamination. In the second chapter we discuss the partial goals that lead to the fulfillment of the set of goals of the work. The third chapter consists of the methodology of the work, which contains the methods used in the thesis, describes the work and the presented interpretation of the results. In the fourth and last chapter, we would like to describe the procedure and the intervention of the fire brigade in practice, the time course of the intervention, the evaluation and the presentation of subsequent proposals and improvements in the discussion. The importance of the work is the knowledge, the processing and the orientation in the issue, which should bring some progress in solving the issue, or draw attention to the shortcomings that directly affect the performance of the intervention.
