In our diploma thesis we compare the precipitation regime and water balance of two selected stations using climatic characteristics such as average air temperature and atmospheric precipitation. We also chose soil temperature, minimum and maximum daily temperatures, relative humidity, solar radiation intensity, water saturation supplement and potential evapotranspiration as additional characteristics. We processed the period of the warm half-year 2017 - 2020. We compared the Boky juh station in the 1st forest vegetation stage and the Králová station in the 4th forest vegetation stage. In addition to this difference, their opposite orientation to the world is also important. We obtained the data necessary for processing from the regional network of biometeorological stations of the Technical University in Zvolen. All data that were missing for various reasons were supplemented from the stations Boky sever and Borová hora. For a better possibility of indicating climate change, we compared the average air temperature and atmospheric precipitation with their long-term averages from 1961 - 1990. These data were obtained by interpolation from SHMÚ data. In the next step, we calculated the indices to signal drought - Lang's rain factor and the climate index of irrigation. We also analyzed the monthly number without precipitation days and monitored the occurrence of drought periods in individual semesters. In the results, we evaluated the deviations of average air temperatures and atmospheric precipitation from their long-term averages based on the methodological regulation of abnormality assessment by Lapin et al.
