The submitted diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of the wild boar game hunting trophy quality in the district of Zvolen in the last 10-year period. The thesis deals with the history of today's wild boars, the spread of wild boar game in Slovakia and Europe, and with wild boar game hunting in 2010/2020, including their death. The geomorphological structure of the area of interest as well as the province of hunting grounds is characterised. In the results, based on data obtained from breeding inspections in the given hunting season, author of this thesis tries to describe, graphically represent and evaluate the development of the wild game trophy quality in the district of Zvolen, including the development of JKS, fulfilment of breeding and hunting plans, health status and mortality of wild boar game. The conclusion, based on the evaluated parameters of wild boar trophies, shows that the opinion on the culmination of the adult wild boars point value stated in the professional literature, usually at the age of 6 years, is not completely accurate. This statement is based on the results of the diploma thesis which confirm the fact that the total point value as well as the individual measured parameters of wild boar tusks increase until their 7 to 8 years of age. In addition, it has been proven that within the district of Zvolen, which includes 4 hunting areas, the best results in the quality of evaluated parameters and the total point value of 3- to 7-year-old wild boars were recorded in PO J XI Vtáčnik.
