Degree of professional qualification of an engineer in short „Ing.". Zvolen: TU, 2021. 77 p. The diploma thesis deals with the topic of applying the green economy in forest enterprises. The diploma work is divided into four chapters. In the first part we define a green economy, explain the concept from which it is derived, describe how the world and Slovakia approach and perceive the topic. We explain related concepts such as sustainable development, green growth, forestry and forest enterprises. We describe indicators of the green economy. We analyze the impact of green economy in selected forestry companies. Objectives and goals are defined in the second part. The survey was carried out in the form of questionarries, which were sent to the respondent by e – mail, and we evaluated the set of collected questionarries. We will explain the methodology and methodological procedure for sending and evaluating the information collected. In the third part, we described and evaluated specific data found. We made a brief description of the results of the questionnaire survey and proposed recommendations on how to develop the issue. We used graphical statistical analyzes to evalu-ate the questionnaires. In the fourth part we summarized the findings from the available literature and aquestionnaire survey.
