Šalkovský, Adam: Application of methods GNSS RTK for obtaining spatial data in forestry [ Diploma thesis]; Technical University in Zvolen; Faculty of Forestry; Department of Forest Management and Geodesy; Diploma thesis supervisor: Ing. Julián Tomaštík, PhD. 2019, 78 pages. The topic of this Diploma thesis is Application of methods for obtaining spatial data in forestry. The Diploma thesis is composed of two thematic parts. In the first part, we focused on the topic analysis which is processed in three spheres. The significant part of topic analysis describes global satellite navigation systems and also this topic directly includes the area of regional navigation satellite systems. In connection with the GNSS technology, we also processed the supported systems SBAS. After the detail gained information about technologies for obtaining spatial data in forestry, we determined the specific aspects of its utilization in conditions of forest management. In conclusion of the theoretical part, we describe the currently used applications for the work with the gis data in the forestry area. The second part of the thesis has a practical character. This part is focused on the research of collecting data in forestry vegetation. The experimental measurements are carried out in two phases, in the vegetation period and out of vegetation period. These results are compared with measurements in the free area. In the methodical part, we describe used devices, relevant software, and the character of the area used for experimental measurements. In the end, the data processing results were compared with the observation of another author, who collected the data via GNSS technology.
