The aim of diploma thesis is on the ground of theoretical resources about nonprofit organisations to clarify possibilities of theirs creation, management and financing and in connection with obtained knowledges analysing economy and management of selected nonprofit organisation. Diploma thesis aim fulfillment is realized in theoretical as well as in empirical part of the thesis. Theoretical part contains detailed theoretical information, which have base in books and internet sources listed in used literature register. In theoretical part of diploma thesis is aim fulfilled mainly through descriptive method. Empirical part of diploma thesis is processed via revenue and expenses analysis, horizontal and vertical analysis in period of years 2013 - 2017 relating to nonprofit organisation Mestske divadlo - Divadlo z Pasaze n.o.. Data required for organisation analysis were draw from financial statements and annual reports, subsequently were analysed and interpreted. In conclusion part of diploma thesis we mention our own solution of problems and we comment facts and knowledges in confrontation with other authors results.
