The focus of this thesis was to record the occurrence of wood-destroying fungi in LHC Krupina stands. Four temporary research areas of 50 x 50 meters were established in these stands. Each research area was based in a different stand with different woody composition, consisting only of deciduous trees. The amount of dead wood occupied by wood-destroying fungi and the number of infected trees with wood-destroying fungi were recorded on each plot. The impact of climatic conditions on the occurrence of wood-destroying fungi during the research period was evaluated. Also the health status of stands was evaluated based on the occurrence of individual species of wood-destroying fungi in terms of their association with the ecotrophic type on saprophytic, parasitic and saproparasitic.
