František Tóth, The vascular plants of forest ecosystems in hounting ground Karanč (Cerová vrchovina), Bachelor Thesis, Technical University in Zvolen, Faculty of Forestry, Department of Phytology, bachelor thesis supervisor RNDr. Judita Kochjarová, CSc., 56 pages. The central aim of the bachelor thesis was the determination of the vegetation cover in the hunting ground Karanč (Cerová vrchovina) within four selected forest ecosystems. Further I focused especially on the effect of the mouflon (Ovis musimon) on both the multiplicity and diversity of species in the selected forest ecosystems. The field research was conducted in-between 2019 and spring of 2020. Overall there was recorded 161 species of vascular plants. The examination covered four types of forest biotopes (oak forest, beech forest, secondary acacia forest, alder forest). Compared to earlier literature there were found 32 species less. The main cause of the lower number of the species is the narrower territory, the short period of time (one vegetation season) as well as the limited selection of research locations (four types of forest ecosystems). The aim of the bachelor thesis was also to evaluate the occurrence, abundance and impact of mouflon on the undergrowth of forest communities in mountain Karanč.
