The diploma thesis deals with the change of design of two-shaft shredder on a single-shaft tire shredder with the use of both electric motors on the one shaft. The new design should be as cheap as possible and use as many original components as possible. At thesis, we have designed 5 alternatives for the storage of two electric motors per shaft. From these alternatives, we chose the most suitable design variant of the shredder, which fulfilled the transmission of a double torque. This variant was further subjected to the strength calculation of the basic machine nodes and we also made the strength simulation using ANSYS 16.2 Workbench. The final design of shredder as well as its components were modeled in the CAD system Solidworks. Finally, we have worked on technical and drawing documentation.
