The task of my proposal was to rise the existence of the traditional city block to the new level with the possibility of ulitize nowadays unused city baths as a main function, on which would be logicaly connected surrounding functions. As an antipole of this strong moment there are empty spaces "holes" in the surrounding build-up area, which are now continiously connecting and communicating with the object of the thermes and existing houses through the new embedded architecture. With the responsive selection of additional functions, which are hotel and gastro services for the visitors of the renewed Grossling and hotel academy, also ulitizing the presence of the thermes building in the case of student practices, I achieved the imput of logical functions connected through the inner courtyard, which is also very flexible and accesible during the different parts of the year and with the ability to be crossable, is perfectly fitting the conception of the compact city block.
