Topic of master thesis discusses draft urban study of the city Komarno in response to the Pre-Diploma Thesis studio. Territory of the thesis consists of the Danube waterfront area including the Danube arms and Elizabeth's Island. The main idea of my work was to design urban concept solutions for a mentioned area with a view to making available to the shoreline areas and developing defined location with respect to the history, development of the city structure and natural conditions. It preceded the drafting of a detailed assessment of the current state of the area and its functional use, which in some ways seems to be unsatisfactory. Proposed urban study presents a new vision of arrangement and functional use of the site, traffic and pedestrian relations and vegetation koncept in respect to contact area (historical center of Komarno, Komárom city).
