The goal of this diploma thesis is designing a concept of development of a Ružinov Bratislava in a part of the ending the city Ružinov radial. The Ruzinovska street is a main axe of a city part Ružinov and also one of the main radial of Bratislava city. However, this radial is the only one which, doesnt have a fluent continuity. At the end of radial , there is also a missing of transversality with Gagarinova street. This place is also characterised by junction of railway line and highway exit, so the highway is situated on a flyover. All of these facts create an illusion of the ending. In my project I am interested in decreasing this feeling and I am using at the first sight weak points for creating positive aspects and benefits. Thanks to railway line I am creating a node of integrated railway transportation. The tram in the ending area of Ruzinovska will be sinking underground and these fact will create an opportunity to continue above railway line and also airport. In my design I am creating also a new continuing of tram line in direction to city part Vrakuňa. The highaway serves like a perfect connection of territory and I would like to connect Ruzinovska street through a new shopping and administartive area to airport. The goal is also implementing a new urban tissue to neighbourhood Pošeň, because nowdays the area looks not finnished. If we merge a Ruzinov water surface together with Zlate piesky with imaginary circle we can see that it goes through the gardenning area nowdays. So I would like to propose a new water element, which has mainly semipublic character and it serves mostly for residents. The new lake creates a good conditions in a not very attractive area. The proposal consists from variety of dwellings from close courtyards with a water continuity through semipublic courtyards till pointed structure which is a full of high greenery. In a continuity with school is created a atractive public space with a water contact. The new living area is connected with railway station with flyover pedestrian line, which crosses the polyfunctional zone with atractive parterre, administration and storages, all designed in a way that pesestrian is avoiding a contact with cars.
