The basis of this thesis is processing literature about Mouflon (Ovis musimon). Filling the knowledge of the origin, taxology of species, and expansion in Slovakia and abroad. The work is mainly focused on the ecology and ethology of mouflon kind. The first part includes food ecology, selective agents, which are natural predators and diseases. Organic part constitute of evidence concerning the behavior during the breeding period, oestrus teratogenicity, and of course social behavior. The last section is devoted to the management of mouflons, the age class, gender structure, as well as the principles of correct farming.
