The subject of my bachelor`s thesis is an architectural design of community centre in Liptovský Mikuláš, in city part Okoličné. The estate is situated nearby church st. Peter from Alcantara, which is the biggest gothic structure in Liptov. On the other side of estate are situated a family houses. The purpose of my project was to offer meeting, educational and free time activity space for just about 100 different aged people.The substance of structure was designed to create a smooth transition between the church and family houses. Materials which were used in my project are in harmony with surroundings, nature and Liptov so on. I was also depending on term-technological requests.Dispozition of structure was designed with regard to views, which are offered by our estate. The situation of Liptovský Mikuláš is in the valley between High and Low Tatras and it is offering us a beautiful mountain views on the north – Baníkov, Baranec and Jakubiná ant on the south – Poludnica, Demanovská hora.
