In diploma work is central theme to the diagnosis of soil water regime in Jakubov area. I used the model GLOBAL to assess the water regime in the soil. The basic input data for the simulation are climatic conditions, hydrological and hydrogeological conditions, soil characteristics and also the characteristics of the crop grown in a given area. I used data modified by the optimistic emission scenario SRES B1 and pessimistic emission scenario SRES A2 for the forecast of the rainfall and air temperature. I used grass like a reference crop in the modeling. Another vegetation was a corn with two maximal leaf area index 3,0 m2.m-2, and 3,9 m2.m-2. The result of my work is to evaluate soil water storage under the crops of the corn and grass in different rainfall situations and evaluate the differences of soil water storage under the crops of corn with different leaf area index.
