The final thesis examines the perception of the forest management plan as an example of a public policy tool-mix by contractors. It elaborates the theoretical foundations for the public policy tool-mix, clarifies the division of the tool-mix into regulatory, economic and information public policy tools, clarifies the theoretical foundations of the forest management plan as a forest policy tool-mix, describes the components, actors and processes of forest management planning in the theoretical part. In the methodological part, it proposes design of the concept of the forest management plan perception survey from the forestry policy tool-mix perspective. The analytical part, based on the proposed concept of the forest management plan perception survey describes the process of creation and perception in practice, synthesizes the conclusions of the forest management plan perception survey as a forestry policy tool-mix and compares it with foreign studies from Sweden and Lithuania. The final part describes the findings and suggested solutions to problems associated with the perception of the forest management plan as a forest policy tool-mix.
