This master thesis analyses the influence operations of the Republic of Türkiye in the Western Balkan countries, namely Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Albania, Kosovo, Montenegro, and Serbia, and their impact on international security. Based on a literature review, the author proposed a structure of several elements to analyse the influence operations – diplomacy, public diplomacy, information operations, economic operations, clandestine operations and military cooperation. In the first part, the thesis analyses primary sources, which are supplemented by information obtained during interviews with experts on the topic. Subsequently, an analysis of the common features and characteristics of Türkiye’s influence operations, as well as their potential impact on international security, is presented.
