Landscape areal Skalka near Trencin is the oldest pilgrimage place in Slovakia with rich history and big potential for outdoor recreation. Project deals with the problem of pilgrimage areas as the areas of outdoor nature recreation. With many analyses, towards to the design solution, this project goes through the different stages of analyzing to planning in addition to find a suitable solution for an ideal place, a suitable area for outdoor recreation, walking hand in hand with pilgrimage place. The design project tries to find a solution suitable for both, to keep the genius loci of this pilgrimage place, but also is trying to develop sufficient outdoor recreation for variety range of people, who want to enjoy nature.
