ŠÁRNIKOVÁ, Veronika: Marketing plan of company development in wood processing industry: diploma thesis. Zvolen: Technical University in Zvolen. Faculty of Wood Sciences and Technology. 2019. 90 pp.The diploma thesis deals with the issue of marketing planning, specifically the proposal of the marketing plan for a wood processing company, that is the company PAMI Drevo s.r.o., whose activity is sawmill production of softwood timber. The aim of the diploma thesis is to elaborate a marketing plan for the development of company in the wood processing industry that will be based on theoretical background and knowledge and will follow careful examination of the company. Our objective is to elaborate individual parts of the plan in order to propose specific marketing measures in the area of marketing mix and strategic direction for increasing the number of customers by the end of 2019.The thesis is logically divided into five chapters. The first chapter is devoted to the theoretical basis of marketing, marketing planning and individual components of the marketing plan. The second chapter describes the main goal of the thesis, which is the proposal of marketing measures in the field of marketing mix and strategic direction for increasing the number of customers by the end of 2019. To meet the main aim, we have set out several partial objectives. In the next chapter, we focused on the methodology of work and the methods of research. The fourth chapter contains the results of the primary research in the company PAMI Drevo s.r.o., in which we have chosen controlled interviews with the company manager and a questionnaire survey among the company's customers as a data collection technique. The main contribution of the work is the fifth chapter, in which we propose the strategic direction of the company, the proposal of measures in the field of marketing mix, and recommendations aimed at increasing the number of customers and at the same time the expansion and prosperity of the company.
