The theoretical part consists of the basic definitions associated with the topic of the Bachelor thesis, such as. unemployment and inflation, forms of unemployment, types of inflation, causes and consequences of their occurrence, as well as the relationship between them. The relationship is illustrated by the Phillips curve, which is described in more detail in the Bachelor thesis. In addition, the thesis also provides a more detailed is description of the Beveridge curve, which expresses the relationship between job vacancy rates and unemployment rates. In the practical part, attention is paid to the analysis of unemployment and inflation in Slovakia from 2013 to 2017. The analysis is developed for different categories.
