The aim of the thesis is to analyse the attitudes of employees towards the established innovation of the information system in the selected sector, focused on public administration. The first part deals with theoretical knowledge of innovation, innovation process, acceptance of innovation and public sector. After the study and processed of the theoretical background, the aim and methodology of the thesis, follows the analytical part, which is focused on the evaluation of questionnaires and analysis of obtained data. At the beginning, the current situation in the public sector is characterised by introducing the innovation of the new information system. The following sections analyse the sector´s employees´ acceptance of this innovation. Based on the findings, the typology of employee resistance to established innovation is elaborated and appropriate measures are then proposed for individual employee groups and their better adaption to innovation.
