The diploma thesis focuses on the issue of financial support for users of hunting land and hunting grounds. The aim of the thesis is to identify the current state of economic involvement of the state in agriculture and forestry. The aim and also the partial goals are achieved in the diploma thesis by the methods of description, analysis, comparison, deduction, synthesis. The theoretical basis of the thesis explores the possibilities of support for users of hunting lands and hunting grounds. The first chapter also identifies the user of the hunting land and the user of the hunting ground. The practical part of the thesis evaluates the support of the state, which is directed to agriculture and forestry. The result of the diploma thesis is a notice of the problem associated with the under-funding of forestry in Slovakia. The thesis also proposes the extension of statistical data of the surveyed ministries to include payments made to users of hunting lands and hunting grounds. These data are not the subject of separate statistics.
