The bachelor´s thesis deals with the analysis of financing of companies in the woodworking and furniture industry in Slovakia. The main goal of the bachelor thesis is to identify and evaluate the use of standard and alternative forms of financing in woodworking and furniture companies in Slovakia. Based on the findings, the possibilities and perspectives in the use of selected forms of financing by woodworking and furniture companies in Slovakia in the future will be subsequently proposed. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the characteristics of the woodworking and furniture industry in Slovakia, the definition of the company, the business environment and financing by standard and alternative forms of financing. The practical part is focused on the analysis of the use of selected forms of financing in companies in the woodworking and furniture industry in Slovakia. The results of the questionnaire survey provide insight into the real use of standard and alternative forms of financing in business practice. The results of the questionnaire survey are evaluated in a descriptive and graphical way. Based on the analysis, the achieved results are evaluated and proposals are formulated in order to increase awareness and improve access to the use of alternative forms of financing.
