The bachelor thesis deals with innovative (alternative) forms of financing in small and medium enterprises in Slovakia. The aim of the work is to find out and evaluate the availability and use of innovative (alternative) forms of financing by small and medium-sized enterprises in the Slovak Republic through a questionnaire survey. The bachelor thesis is divided into 5 chapters. The first chapter deals with the theoretical background, namely the definition of the characteristics of small and medium-sized enterprises, then the theoretical definition of financing of small and medium-sized enterprises and finally the characteristics of standard and alternative forms of financing. The second chapter sets the goal of the work and the following third chapter describes the methodology of the work. The fourth chapter has a practical character and deals with the survey and analysis of the use of innovative (alternative) forms of financing in small and medium-sized enterprises in Slovakia, in which the results of the survey are presented in a descriptive and graphical way. The last fifth chapter focuses on the final evaluation and recommendations.
