The aim of my final project, FIT 2 FUTURE, was to create a future-set vehicle for Shanghai city with an alternative power drive, considering materials a construction process, and user interface, all based on my acquired skills and knowledge. The introductory part presents a brief history of the city, infrastructure issues, and Shanghai's public transport. The body of my thesis describes the creative process, starting with ideas, through substantial sketches up to a model, scaled 1:4. Furthermore, this part addresses the question of infrastructure; as well as it contains ergonomical, aesthethic, and technical aspects of the vehicle. Knowledge gained throughout the process and the asset of the design fit for Shanghai's future are included in the conclusion.
