The aim of my bachelor thesis was to solve the proposal of the music pavilion, which would cultivate the current neglected location near the major urban recreational point -- Štrkovecké jazero in Bratislava. The site is bordered by middle and high residential buildings on the east side. Creating a cultural and educational center would greatly improve the quality of this location and would help to enjoy the free time of inhabitants in the center of urban area. My final solution was to create a solitaire, which its shape subtly guide walking pedestrians in its square formed by wrapping the buildings footprint . The proposed building has two floors above ground and one underground floor . It is functionally differentiated in the horizontal and vertical directions and concert hall opened for visitors is making the entire north wing of the building . Part of the functional use is the coffee next to the foyer . On the ground floor are offices, facilities for employees and sanitary equipment. Classrooms are located on the second floor and basement serves as a covered parking for visitors and staff of a pavilion . The mass of the object fits into existing buildings, but its material solution creates accent, whereby functionally and architecturally making this building different from the surroundings.
