The purpose of this thesis is a projection of a residential building. The location of the object, its form and height are solving with respect to relevant legislative norms. The vertical supporting structure of the residential building is made up with a system of pillars which dimension is 300x300 mm. Vertical non-bearing constructions are built up of bricks Porotherm Profi 30 (247x300x249), Porotherm Akustik 30 (200x300x238), Porotherm Profi 17,5 (375 × 175 × 249), Porotherm Profi 11,5 (497x115x249). Horizontal load-bearing structures are designed as reinforced concrete, monolithic floor slabs of thickness 200 mm with reinforcement in two directions. The staircase is formed as a monolithic reinforced concrete construction. Roof structure is designed as a flat roof non-walked with of single internal drained. Aperture structure consists of wood windows with IV 78 profile with isolated double glass. Construction floor heights on the first storey is 3,640 meters, on the other floors is 3,060 m. There is floor is kitchen, dining room, dressing rooms, offices, cafeteria, lounge, toilet facilities, lodge and room hardware on the first floor. There are residential units for students on the upper floors. Residential unit has two independently bedrooms, common bathroom, kitchen and bathroom. Color and material which was used on the facade is accommodating the locality of town Žilina, in which the object is situated. The residential building consists of 64 rooms, each with a separate entry from staircase. The residential building answer demand investor and functioning disposition use flat as well as the needs for contemporary dwelling in exposed district of the locality.
