Main aim of this bachelor thesis is optimalization of material flow in one affiliate of Slovakia post-office, a.s. Theretical part of this thesis is focused on pieces of knowledge of logistics. Mainly it’s characterisation, history and present time. In detail it’s focused on distribution logistics. Distribution logistics is analysed from activities such as planning, storing, packaging and other processes of distribution and their functions. Practical part analyzes the current status of material flow in a specific affiliate of a company and it’s particular problematic parts of individual processes. Based on the analysis of problematic parts was suggested a new optimal solution of material flow with an economic benefits for the company using methods of graphical display and time studies.
